SUBSTANCE: ansa-bis-cyclopentadienyl derivatives of IV group transition metals where metal is in oxidation degree of +2 or +4 is prepared by contacting bis- cyclopentadienyl halogen, hydrocarbonyl (hydrocarbon radical), hydrocarbyloxide or amid complex of group IV metal with conjugated diene optionally in the presence of reducing agent.
