abstract FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of 1- naphthoylguanidines of the formula (I) where R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 mean H, F, Cl, Br, J, CF 3 ; X a Y b Z, X mean O; a = 0, 1; Y means alkylene being one of groups CH2 can be substituted for O-phenylene; b = 0 or 1; Z means H, C/=O/R/15, NR/16/R/17/ or phenyl that can be unsubstituted or substituted or Z means nitrogen-containing heterocycle with 1-5 carbon atoms, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts also. Compounds of the formula (I) show inhibitory activity with respect to Na + /H + -exchange and therefore they can be used in medicine as, for example, an antiarrhythmic medicinal agent.
