Hemostatic bandage |
abstract |
FIELD: sanitary and hygienic goods. SUBSTANCE: bandage utilizable for stopping capillary, diffusion, and parenchimatous bleedings contains hemostatic layer consisting of textile substrate, knitted and nonwoven materials with water-sorption capacity 9-20 g/g and 0.4-3.0 mg/sq.cm (volume of bandage) iron gluconate or lactate as hemostatic substances. Textile substrate is covered with layer of polyethylene glycol having molecular weight 200-1200 at surface density 0.2-0.3 g/sq.cm. Bandage further contains atraumatic layer made from perforated film or hydrophobic polymer (e.g. polypropylene) mesh disposed on the wound surface side. Hemostatic bandage contains antimicrobial preparation within a range of 0.03-0.3 mg/sq.cm. EFFECT: improved hemostatic and sanitary-hygienic properties, increased sorption and atraumaticity. 4 cl, 1 tbl |
