FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: composition of electrically insulating oil contains: a base oil component, at least 80 wt % of which is paraffin base oil obtained through hydroisomerisation of wax produced during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, with subsequent deparaffination, containing more than 80 wt % paraffins, more than 98 wt % saturated compounds, and containing several isoparafins having n, n+1, n+2, n+3 and n+4 carbon atoms and in which the value of n is between 20 and 35; and an antioxidant additive. The base oil component has flash point of at least 170C, which is determined in accordance with ISO 2592. The composition may also contain a copper passivator, mainly a benzotriazole compound. When preparing the composition, the base oil component undergoes purification with bleach clay, and the antioxidant additive and the copper passivator, if present, are added after purification with the bleach clay. ^ EFFECT: reduced precipitation and high oxidative stability, improved cold flow, reduced dielectric loss. ^ 18 cl, 7 tbl, 4 ex, 2 dwg |
