FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of determining whether a compound is a neurotrypsin inhibitor, as well as a method of measuring catalytic activity of neurotrypsin, where the tested compound is incubated together with human or mouse neurotrypsin or a fragment of human or mouse neurotrypsin which contains a neurotrypsin protease domain, and with a complete length or soluble agrin, or agrin-C45, or a fluorescent protein, or a peptide containing agrin, agrin-C45, in an aqueous buffer solution at pH 7.5 and the number of agrin cleavages is measured. n EFFECT: improved properties. |
