abstract |
FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and apparatus for treating liquid materials based on organic wastes, particularly from sludge of sewage plants and the like. Sludge material is mixed with chemicals, particularly sulphuric acid or nitric acid and ammonia during evaporation and degassing of liquid in the material, to increase content of solid substances. The material is continuously fed into the top part of a vertical container for mixing, where material is mixed. The material then passes into the reaction vessel for treatment with acid. The material is then subjected to the impact action of several rotational treatment devices in the reaction vessel. Further, the material passes into the reaction vessel for treatment with ammonia, where the material is subjected to the impact action of several rotational treatment devices. The material then enters a dryer where the material is dried until achieving given content of solid substances. n EFFECT: high degree of reaction, high degree of hydration and content of nitrogen/nutrients of the fertilisation end product; possibility of reducing use of chemicals by considerably increasing the uptake of added nutrients in the fertilisation product. n 16 cl, 2 dwg |
