Method and sorbents for electrostatic precipitator arranged at hot side for removal of mercury from gaseous combustion products |
abstract |
FIELD: process engineering. n SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in processing the gas flow by particles of mercury carbonaceous sorbent. It includes collection of mercury carbonaceous sorbent at collection plates arranged at hot side of electrostatic precipitator. Besides it comprises ticking collection plates for removal of major part of collected particles of mercury carbonaceous sorbent into bin. It comprises periodical emptying of the bins. Note here that ticking and removal are performed at the rate to allow at 70% of mercury adsorbed at mercury sorbent to be desorbed from said sorbent into gas flow. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of mercury removal. n 7 cl, 13 dwg |
