abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel compounds, particularly novel pyridinone derivatives of formula (I) or stereochemically isomeric forms thereof, where R 1 is C 1-6 alkyl or C 1-3 alkyl, substituted with C 3-7 cycloalkyl; R 2 is a halogen, trifluoromethyl, C 1-3 alkyl or cyclopropyl; X is a covalent bond, O or O-CH 2 ; Ar is an unsubstituted phenyl or phenyl substituted with n radicals R 4 , where n equals 1, 2 or 3; where each R 4 is a halogen; or pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts or solvates thereof.
