titleOfInvention Operation of exhaust gas purification device
abstract FIELD: engines and pumps. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ICE exhaust gas purification device operation. The essence of the invention: operation method of device 1 for the purification of exhaust gas including a heater 3 and a reducing agent feeder 4. This process comprises, first, checking if the reducing agent is to be fed and, then, various patterns of heating are realised. In case the reducing agent should be fed, the exhaust gas purification device is heated by the heater 3 unless the first limiting temperature 8 is reached in case the first main temperature 7 is lower than the said temperature 8. In case the reducing agent should not be fed, the exhaust gas purification device is heated by the heater 3 unless the second limiting temperature 10 is reached in case the definite second main temperature 9 is lower than the said temperature 10. n EFFECT: high efficiency of purification, lower power consumption. n 11 cl, 5 dwg
