abstract FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of used as fertiliser compositions ammonium nitrate-sulphate (ASN). Method of producing ammonium nitrate-sulphate double salt 1:2 involves combining ammonium sulphate, nitric acid and ammonia source in an aqueous solution to form reaction mixture; heating reaction mixture to temperature of approximately 160 °C to about 180 °C; providing reaction in reaction mixture to form intermediate mixture; heating of intermediate to final temperature of about 175 °C to approximately 190 °C and retention of intermediate mixture at final temperature for removal of sufficient quantity of water from intermediate mixture to form double salt of ammonium nitrate-sulphate 1:2. n EFFECT: invention enables to obtain ammonium nitrate-sulphate double salts without complications and high cost of the two-stage neutralisation, as well as without risk of molten ammonium nitrate. n 14 cl, 1 dwg, 3 ex
