titleOfInvention Device set for limb bone fractures osteosynthesis
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: set of devices for femoral neck fractures osteosynthesis comprises a fenestrated cannulated compression screw, a screwdriver and a silicone plug. The fenestrated cannulated compression screw consists of two bars - distal and proximal bars - with through axial channels with a possibility of telescopical connection, and holes in the bar walls providing osteogenesis stimulating substances feeding into the fracture zone. Each of the bars is provided with a threaded portion for screw engagement with the femoral neck bone material and screwdriver holes. The distal screw bar is formed with thread of a greater diameter compared with the diameter of the thread of the proximal screw bar, where the thread on the proximal and distal rods is made with different pitch. The screwdriver is made with a possibility of distal and/or proximal bars rotation. The screwdriver consists of two coaxial bars of different diameters, one of which - with larger diameter - is formed with an axial bore and rigidly fixed in the handle and a second bar - with smaller diameter - is movably placed in the larger diameter bar bore. The end surface shape of the smaller diameter bar is formed corresponding to the proximal bar screwdriver bore. The end surface shape of the larger diameter bar is formed corresponding to the distal bar screwdriver bore. The screwdriver also comprises a latch that adjusts the smaller diameter bar position in the larger diameter bar to change the length between the bar ends, depending on the length of the telescopic screw used and on the distance specified for operation by which the screw length can be reduced during fractures treatment. The silicone plug has shape and dimensions to provide its tight accommodation in the axial through-channel of the distal bar from the screwdriver bore side. n EFFECT: invention provides a more effective fixation of fracture fragments, accelerated bone fusion with a decrease in side effects and postoperative complications associated with distal screwmigration in limb bones during fracture healing due to telescopic, cannulated and fenestrated screw design. n 28 cl, 1 ex, 7 dwg
