FIELD: cosmetology. n SUBSTANCE: oral care composition comprising a mixture of a tetrabasic zinc halide and trimethylglycine (TMG) hydrochloride is proposed. A tetrabasic zinc halide-trimethylglycine hydrochloride complex is also proposed, as well as tetrabasic zinc halide application together with trimethylglycine hydrochloride in oral care product manufacture. Methods for composition application comprising application of the above composition to teeth are: a method for tooth enamel erosion treatment or reduction, a method for teeth cleaning, a method for reduction of s biofilm formed by bacteria, a method for plaque treatment or reduction, a method for gingiva inflammation treatment or reduction, a method for caries inhibition, a method for cavity formation treatment or reduction and/or dentin sensitivity reduction. n EFFECT: composition content provides effective delivery of zinc ions to the teeth surface when the composition is used in combination with a decrease in solubility with composition dilution during use and formation of zinc compound precipitate that can close the dentinal tubules, thereby reducing tooth sensitivity. n 18 cl, 12 tbl, 4 ex |
