abstract | The invention relates to the tobacco industry. The combustible source (2c) of heat for the smoking article has a barrier 6 fixed on the end surface of this combustible heat source. Between the end surface of the combustible heat source (2c) and the barrier (6) there is a thermally activated adhesive (8b). A moisture-activated adhesive (10b) can be made between the end surface of the combustible heat source (2c) and the thermally activated adhesive (8b). A method of manufacturing a combustible heat source (2c) having a barrier (6) fixed on the end surface of this combustible heat source comprises the steps of: performing a thermally activated adhesive (8a) between the end surface of the combustible heat source (2b) and the barrier (6 ), fix the barrier (6) on the end surface of the combustible heat source (2b) and heat the combustible heat source (2b) together with the barrier (6) fixed on the end surface of this combustible heat source to activate the thermally activated adhesive (8a). The technical result is to reduce the content of harmful components of smoke, which are formed as a result of combustion and pyrolytic degradation of tobacco in conventional cigarettes. 3 n. and 12 hp f-ly, 1 ill. |
