titleOfInvention Method of long-term storage of nuclear fuel and tank for cooling and storage for its implementation
abstract FIELD: nuclear physics and equipment.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relate to nuclear power engineering. Method of long-term storage of spent nuclear fuel consists in unloading fuel entirely without disassembling the core in the composition of the unit and its placement in the tank of cooling and storage, placed in the shaft with a cooling system and filled with a lead-bismuth liquid alloy of eutectic composition, which provides the conditions for maintaining the liquid state of the lead-bismuth alloy and controlling its temperature for removing residual heat. Tank is removed and placed in the in-house packaging container without exceeding the permissible temperature of the lead-bismuth alloy while removing the residual heat until the lead-bismuth alloy solidifies therein. Transfer the tank into the transport-packaging container without taking additional measures to organize the heat sink. There is also a tank for cooling and storage.EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to simplify the process and shorten the period of nuclear fuel overload with a high level of residual heat release.12 cl, 1 dwg
