abstract FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in application of heat-resistant and wear-resistant layers on parts from titanium or titanium alloys operating at high temperatures and in conditions of abrasive wear. Electric arc surfacing is performed by nonconsumable electrode in medium of inert protective gases with application of aluminum filler wire at modes ensuring production of welded layer with aluminum content at level of 5–25 %. n EFFECT: said aluminum content during surfacing provides formation of structure of weld metal on the basis of supersaturated solution of aluminum in titanium and intermetallic phase Ti 3 Al, which improve wear resistance and heat resistance of working surfaces of parts from titanium and titanium alloys. n 1 cl
