abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology and resuscitation, and can be used in surgical management of patients with thyroid diseases. Overnight psychoemotional assessment of patients using Spielberger-Hanin scales, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, HADS, as well as a bispectral index, thyroid hormones and cortisol is performed, the obtained values are entered into formulas and values are calculated F1, F2, F3: F1=2.16*TA-3.56*D+17.14*BIS-1.6*TTH+2.1*T3+0.019*Crl-878.91; F2=2.03*TA-3.49*D+17.12*BIS-2.85*TTH+1.14*T3+0.014*Crl-861.85; F3=2.1*TA-3.65*D+17.18*BIS-2.53*TTH+1.1*T3+0.013*Crl-870.02; where TA – trait anxiety, D – depression, BIS – bispectral index, TTH – thyrotropic hormone in blood, mcMe/ml, T3 – total triiodothyronine in blood, pmol/l, Crl – cortisol in blood, nmol/l; 2.16; 3.56; 17.14; 1.6; 2.1; 0.019; 878.91 – classification coefficients for F1; 2.03; 3.49; 17.12; 2.85; 1.14; 0.014; 861.85 – classification coefficients for F2; 2.1; 3.65; 17.18; 2.53; 1.1; 0.013; 870.02 – classification coefficients for F3; wherein F1 corresponds to the conclusion on necessity of pretreatment administration of hydroxyzine hydrochloride; F2 – on the necessity of pretreatment administration of diazepam, and F3 on the necessity of pretreatment administration of midazolam, the obtained values of the three formulas are compared to each other and favor the larger value F. n EFFECT: method enables reducing the indicators of state anxiety and trait anxiety, as well as anxiety and depression, leveling the hyperdynamic type of circulation and normalizing the stress hormones. n 1 cl, 2 tbl, 3 ex
