abstract FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a mixture of 4(or 5)-nitrotetraethylrodamines of the following structural formula. The method consists in the interaction of nitrophthalic anhydride with diethylaminophenol. Nitrophthalic anhydride is mixed with diethylaminophenol in a molar ratio of 0.25:0.1, the resulting reaction mass is mixed at 155-170ºC for 2.5-3.5 hours, and then cooled to 90-110 ºC, acetic acid is added to it and then mixed until the solid precipitate is completely dissolved. The resulting solution is cooled to room temperature and poured into water having a temperature of 0-10ºC. The precipitate isolated by filtration is dissolved in an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate and mixed at a temperature of 40-50ºC until the target products are completely precipitated, which are then washed with hot distilled water and dried.EFFECT: resulting mixture of 4(or 5)-nitrotetraethylrodamines can be used for the synthesis of luminescent antibodies.1 cl, 2 ex
