abstract FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pharmaceutics, namely to a method of producing purified sodium bicarbonate, comprising preparing a solution of soda ash, carbonisation thereof, separation of sediment of sodium bicarbonate from mother liquor, return of mother liquor for preparation of soda solution, washing and drying of sodium bicarbonate, characterized by the fact that obtained soda solution with concentration in range of 140–160 g/l during carbonisation at temperature of 60–80 °C Ca(OH)2:Mg(OH)2modifier is added at ratio of 1:3 in amount of 0.4 to 0.55 % with respect to the total weight of soda ash, solid impurities in the form of calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminium, arsenic and heavy metals carbonates are separated by filtration and the purified soda solution is carbonized at temperature of 75–80 °C.EFFECT: invention widens the range of means for producing purified sodium bicarbonate.1 cl, 3 ex
