The present invention relates to a technique for the synthesis of aromatic hydrocarbons from a syngas, and a catalyst and method for the synthesis of aromatic hydrocarbons by direct conversion of a syngas. The method uses syngas as the feed, which is run in a fixed bed or mobile bed reactor. The catalyst is a complex catalyst with two components A and B and is formed by the combination of catalyst component A and catalyst component B in a mechanical blending mode, wherein the active component of catalyst component A is reactive metal oxides; while the catalyst component B is one or two ZSM-5 and ZSM-5 modified metal zeolites; The synthesis gas pressure is 0.1-6 MPa; The reaction temperature is 300-600 °C; The vacuum speed is 500-8000 h-1. The reaction process is characterized by a high product yield and high selectivity, as the selectivity of aromatic materials reaches 50-85%, while the selectivity of the by-product methane is less than 15%. The present invention has strong potential in industrial applications. |
