titleOfInvention METHOD OF EXTRACTION OF CAROTENOIDS FROM NATURAL RESOURCES
abstract This patent describes a procedure closed to the extraction of carotenoids without application of hydrocarbon and it is provided in the stages as follows: a) the natural source of carotenoid is being separated, while a liquid fraction containing carotenoids and a remaining fraction containing gruel is created b) the liquid fraction is contacted with a coagulating agent containing no hydrocarbon agent, while the above mentioned coagulating is selected of the group containing 0,5 up to 3 weight percent of calcium chloride, 0,05 up to 2 weight percent of calcium hydroxide, 2 up to 6 weight percent calcium lactate and 4 up to 6 weight percent calcium gluconate related to a liquid fraction so that, this liquid fraction is divided and a solid coagulated part containing more carotenoids and a liquid one with less of carotenoids, while the solid and the liquid part contain no hydrocarbon solvent c) the solid part containing more carotenoids is separated of the liquid part containing less carotenoids without use of any hydrocarbon solvent so that, the solid extract with more carotenoids is created which had no contact with hydrocarbon solvent during this extraction.
