titleOfInvention Seawater intake system
abstract Disclosed is a seawater intake system including digging a shaft and a pipeline tunnel under the ground surface, and then deploying water transmission pipes inside the pipeline tunnel to penetrate out to the ocean for performing water intake, in which the pipeline tunnel is able to prevent the water transmission pipe from being directly soaked in the seawater resulting in high likelihood of damages and to facilitate the access for crews to perform arrangement, operation or maintenance of the pipeline. Additionally, by means of providing a control valve to the water transmission pipe, a part of the pipe section of the water transmission pipe may be selectively closed when a part of the pipe section is fractured, so as to perform maintenance to the pipeline where is fractured while maintaining normal intake amount at the same time.
