abstract | A polycarbonate resin composition which has high flame retardancy even when thin, has a surface hardness that renders any hardcoat layer unnecessary, generates little gas when molded, has excellent heat resistance, storage stability, and recycling characteristics, and contains neither a bromine-compound nor a phosphoric-acid flame retardant. A molded article of the composition is provided. Main resin materials for the polycarbonate resin composition are constituted of 85-95 mass% aromatic polycarbonate resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 37,000-55,000 in terms of polystyrene and 15-5 mass% polystyrene resin containing no rubber component. Resin ingredients other than these resins may be contained due to, for example, recycled raw materials so long as the resin ingredients do not impair the properties of the resin composition. A polyfluoroolefin resin, an organic-sulfonate flame retardant, and a silicon-compound flame retardant are added to the resin materials. This , aromatic polycarbonate resin composition is molded into a given shape. |
