abstract The present invention provides a vibration damper for pump head base of water stopper diaphragm pump comprising a pump haed base, a gland base, an elastic membrane, an obstructing baffle, and a compressed spring. The hollow recess chamber of the pump head base orderly accommodates an elastic membrane, an obstructing baffle, a compressed spring and a gland base from bottom to top, wherein a flow guiding column is protruded from the center of the bottom surface of the elastic membrane, such that the flow guiding column can insert into the flow guiding compartment arranged in center of a bottom surface of the hollow recess chamber when the elastic membrane adheres the bottom of the hollow recess chamber in the pump head base. The flow guiding column can absorb the high frequency non-continuously impacting momentum of pumped high pressurized water in different directions, and block the high pressurized water hitting the internal wall of the flow guiding compartment. Thus, the vibration of the pump head base with annoying noise created by the impacting momentum can be avoided.
