abstract |
The present invention provides an improved continuous production method which is capable of continuously producing a high molecular weight polycarbonate resin by a high molecular weight polycarbonate reaction between an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer and an aliphatic diol compound, and can shorten the connection height. The residence time of the reaction mixture in the molecular weight reactor is such that the performance of the resulting polycarbonate resin is improved. A continuous production method of a high molecular weight polycarbonate resin having a step (A) of obtaining an aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer by polycondensation reaction of an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a carbonic acid diester, and a high molecular weight reaction a step (B) of subjecting the obtained aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer and the aliphatic diol compound to a high molecular weight reaction, wherein the aromatic polycarbonate prepolymer of the above step (A) is continuously supplied to the apparatus In the high-molecular-weight reactor, the aliphatic diol compound is continuously supplied and reacted under the conditions of a reduced pressure of 10 torr or less. |
