titleOfInvention | Catalytic induced hydrogen transfer power system |
abstract | The present invention provides an electrochemical power system that generates an electromotive force (EMF) from a catalytic reaction of hydrogen to a lower energy (subhydrogen) state, thereby directly converting energy released from the subhydrogen reaction into electricity, and the system includes at least two a component selected from the group consisting of H2O catalyst or H2O catalyst source; atomic hydrogen or atomic hydrogen source; reactant forming the H2O catalyst or H2O catalyst source and atomic hydrogen or atomic hydrogen source; and one or more initiators A reactant for the catalysis of atomic hydrogen. The electrochemical power system for forming subhydrogen and electricity can further include a cathode compartment (including a cathode), an anode compartment (including an anode), an optionally salt bridge, a separate electron flow and ion mass transfer during battery operation A reactant, an oxygen source, and a hydrogen source constituting the subhydrogen reactant. Due to the half-reaction of the oxidation-reduction cell, the reaction mixture that produces the hydrogen is formed as the electron migrates through an external circuit and the ion mass is transported through a separate path (eg, an electrolyte) to complete the circuit. Further provided is a power supply and a hydride reactor for supplying power to a power system, comprising: (i) a reactive battery for catalyzing the formation of hydrogen atoms by atomic hydrogen; (ii) a chemical fuel mixture comprising at least two components selected from the group consisting of : H2O catalyst source or H2O catalyst; atomic hydrogen source or atomic hydrogen; a reactant forming the H2O catalyst source or H2O catalyst and an atomic hydrogen source or atomic hydrogen; one or more reactants which initiate the catalysis of atomic hydrogen; And a carrier capable of performing the catalysis; (iii) a thermal system for reversing the exchange reaction to thermally regenerate the fuel from the reaction product; (iv) a heat sink that receives heat from the reaction to generate electricity; and (v) Power conversion system. |
