titleOfInvention Dual phase fuel feeder for boiler
abstract Disclosed is a dual phase fuel feeder that can be used to provide both a solid fuel and a liquid fuel to a boiler, such as a fluidized bed boiler. The fuel feeder includes a sloped chute that defines a solid feed path. The gas distribution nozzle is located at the base of the fuel feeder, and the position of the secondary nozzle enables the distribution of liquid or particulate fuel into the solid feed path. This allows the liquid fuel to contact the solid fuel and carry it into the fluidized bed rather than becoming suspended above the bed.
