The invention provides an antibody that binds to the extracellular domain of a tyrosine-protein kinase transmembrane receptor mesenchymal protease. Nucleic acid molecules encoding such antibodies, expression vectors, host cells and methods for expressing such antibodies are also provided. Such antibodies can be used to treat cancer, including gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, lung cancer (preferably SCLC), esophageal cancer, head and neck cancer, pancreatic cancer, lymphoma (preferably non-Hodge Gold's lymphoma) and skin cancer. |
