The invention relates to a composite material, which comprises one or more fiber layers composed of a fiber material and an aromatic polycarbonate-based matrix material. The (or other) fiber layer is embedded in a matrix material. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such fiber composite materials, to a multilayer composite material comprising several layers of fiber composite materials, and to the use of the composite material for manufacturing a component or shell component or shell, and to the component or shell component or shell itself. |
