abstract |
A device suitable for single molecule sequencing. The device includes at least one nanowell, a plurality of nucleic acid fixing portions, and various types of nucleic acid fragments. The nanowell has an observation area. The nucleic acid fixing portion is provided in or adjacent to the observation area. The nucleic acid fragments are respectively fixed to the nucleic acid fixing portion. At least one polymerase is provided in the observation area. Provided is a method for sequencing nucleic acid molecules using the above equipment. The invention is suitable for single-molecule sequencing equipment to provide the advantages of high throughput and shortened sample preparation time. |
