| abstract | The electrical connector 1 of the present invention includes a waterproof member 20 in a body portion 80. The waterproof member 20 includes an internal waterproof portion 22 and an external waterproof portion 24, and the internal waterproof portion 22 and the external waterproof portion 24 are integrated. Therefore, the inner waterproof portion 22 covers the exposed portions 42c and 44c of the upper contact 42 and the lower contact 44 to prevent water from immersing along the upper contact 42 and the lower contact 44. In addition, the outer waterproof portion 24 surrounds the entire circumference of the main body portion 80, and prevents water infiltration between the electrical connector 1 and the inner wall 4 of the accommodation space C of the electronic device 2. Since the internal waterproof portion 22 and the external waterproof portion 24 are integrated as described above, in the electrical connector 1 described above, it is possible to realize both internal waterproofing and external waterproofing with a simple structure of a single waterproof member 20. |
