Process and plant for air separation by cryogenic distallation |
abstract |
A kind of process for air separation by cryogenic distillation in which the air is cooled in the main exchange line and sent to the distillation column of an equipment so that the air is separated by a liquid with abundant oxygen and the steam with abundant nitrogen. A stream of pressurized liquid is vaporized in the main exchange line by heat exchange with air or nitrogen and the required cooling is generated by one or more turbine to produce the inflation of fluid. The feature is that the turbine of this system or all turbines generate a flow with at least 95% fluid as the output, and 100% fluid in special case. |
