abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for welding conduit members which can control change in crystal structure at a joining portion by fusing only the joining portion within a short time by heating and conduit members. The method for welding conduit members of the present invention comprises, in a method for welding conduit members produced by preparing two or more members insides of which are hollow and integrally joining edge surfaces of the members by welding, irradiating electromagnetic wave to fuse both edge surfaces and weld them. When welding is carried out, it is preferred that at least one hollow member is fused and the one of hollow members is constituted by an alloy material containing at least two kinds of metals, and a boiling point of at least one kind of metal contained in the alloy material is lower than the melting point of the alloy material. The alloy material is preferably brass. The electromagnetic wave is preferably a YAG laser. |
