abstract The invention relates to nuclear engineering and can be used in the technology of production of dispersed nuclear fuel. A method of manufacturing a nuclear fuel dispersion involves mixing powders of the fuel particles and the powder of aluminum or its alloy, two-stage compression of the resulting mixture in molds using in the second stage of the mold with a larger internal diameter than in the mold in the first stage, and vacuum annealing billets between stages of pressing. Pressing is carried out in the first stage at a specific pressure from 300 MPa to 600 MPa, and in the second stage from 700 MPa to 900 MPa. Vacuum annealing of the workpiece is carried out at a temperature of up to. The technical result of the invention is a higher density and continuity of the fuel composition.
