titleOfInvention Toner and image forming apparatus
abstract A toner is provided having a coating ratio of toner particles. In one implementation, the ratio corresponds to a percentage of mother particles having diameters smaller than a mean particle diameter. Such ratio is set to be higher than a reference curve of the diameters of additive particles relative to the diameters of mother particles. The coating ratio, in which a mother particle has a diameter equaling the roughness of a developing roller or the mean particle diameter, is a reference value, and the virtual reference curve is constant at the reference value. Other implementations having different coating ratios are provided, as well as an image forming apparatus utilizing the above toner.
