A photothermographic material including: a substrate; at least one image-forming layer, which is disposed on a surface of the substrate and includes at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder; at least one surface-protective layer, which is disposed on a side of the substrate on which the at least one image-forming layer is disposed; and at least one back-surface protective layer, which is disposed on a back surface of the substrate opposite to the surface on which the at least one image-forming layer is disposed. At least one of the surface-protective layer and the back-surface protective layer satisfies the following formula (1): n B/A≧1 Formula (1) n wherein A represents a dynamic friction factor measured at a sliding velocity of 100 mm/min, and B represents a dynamic friction factor measured at a sliding velocity of 2000 mm/min. |
