abstract There are disclosed a method of manufacturing a thin and uniform ceramic porous membrane formed with less membrane formation times and having less defects, and a method of manufacturing a ceramic filter including the ceramic porous membrane. A UF membrane having an average pore diameter smaller than that of a porous base member is formed on the porous base member, a ceramic sol is deposited on the UF membrane, and the ceramic sol is dried with blown air and then fired to form a ceramic porous membrane having an average pore diameter smaller than that of the UF membrane.
