abstract |
A nuclear reactor comprises a fuel rod into which nuclear fuel is enclosed and a control rod that controls nuclear reactions of the nuclear fuel. A concentration of a neutron absorber in a primary coolant at a full power operation of the nuclear reactor, when an operation of the nuclear reactor is started, is set equal to or lower than a value that is obtained by adding a predetermined value to a value obtained by subtracting a concentration of the neutron absorber that is required for maintaining a cold shutdown state of the nuclear reactor when an operation of the nuclear reactor is started from a concentration of the neutron absorber that is required for maintaining cold shutdown of the nuclear reactor when an operation of the nuclear reactor is completed. |
