A system for enabling mobile transactions by service provider applications consuming wallet functions and wallet functions using services of service provider applications includes a multi-tiered electronic mobile transaction platform having a plurality of wallet functions, a plurality of service provider applications, and a plurality of interfaces through which wallet functions and service provider applications interact to enable mobile transactions. The platform also includes a personalization interface of the platform through which a service provider can configure service provider applications that consume a portion of the wallet functions and an enabling interface of the platform through which the wallet functions access the services of the service provider applications. The platform also includes a service interface of the platform through which the service provider applications consume the services of the wallet functions. |
