An electrolyte solution for an electrochemical device, such as a lithium secondary battery, or module. The electrolyte solution contains a solvent; an electrolyte salt; at least one compound (X) selected from a compound represented by R 11 X 11 —SO 3 M 11 and a compound represented by R 21 R 22 N—SO 3 M 21 ; and at least one organosilicon compound selected from a compound represented by (R 31 ) n31 -M 31 -O—SiR 32 R 33 R 34 and a compound represented by R 41 R 42 R 43 —Si—F, where R 11 , X 11 , M 11 , R 21 , R 22 , M 21 , R 41 , R 42 and R 43 are as defined herein. |
