titleOfInvention A language translation aid
abstract The present invention relates to an electronic language translation aid. The aid includes a receiver for receiving a language sentence in a first language. A translator translates the language sentence into both a literal translation and a correct translation in a second language. A display displays the literal translation and the correct translation. Preferably, the display is configured to display both translations concurrently so that an early language learner can obtain an immediate comprehension of individual word meaning through literal translation, and overall contextual meaning through the correct translation.
