Separation of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from gases by scrubbing the gases with a 2.5 to 4.5 molar aqueous solution of methydiethanolamine at a temperature of from 70* to 110* C. From 0.1 to 0.4 mole of monomethylmonoethanolamine is also added to the solution for the removal of any carbonyl sulfide. |
