titleOfInvention Concentrated water suspension of nutrients
abstract A concentrated aqueous solution for the enrichment of foodstuffs containing a water soluble ferrous salt,thiamine, niacinamide, riboflavin that has been treated so as to remain in suspension, and as an anti-oxidant a combination of L-cysteine hydrochloride and ascorbic or erythrobic acid. The riboflavin suspension is produced by adding concentrated hydrochloric acid to the riboflavin and then adding the mixture to the aqueous solution containing the other nutrients and a suspending agent which is either methylcellulose, gum tragacanth or sodium carboxymethylcellulose.
