A prosthetic device for surgical implantation within the cardiovascular system of an animal is constructed of a cobaltchromium-tungsten-nickel-molybdenum alloy. The device is characterized in that it is non-thrombotic and substantially nonreactive with the chemicals found within the animal when implanted therein. |
