Foam applicator heads for the application of a functional chemical treating composition in the form of a froth or foam to a substrate, such as a textile or fabric. The apparatus enables the uniform application in foam form of many functional chemicals composition that are to be used for treatment of the substrate in such manner as to leave the treated material essentially dry to the touch when the treating substrate was initially dry to the touch. |
