abstract Two, preferably three, layered orally administrable granules containing orally administrable penicillins have desirable properties such as elegance, freedom from dust and good reconstitution. They contain an inert core, preferably of sucrose, a penicillin/binder first layer and normally and preferably a final coating layer of conventional additives such as dyes, flavors etc.. Preferably the penicillin is amoxycillin trihydrate and the binder sucrose. The granules may be prepared by fluid bed granulation.
