In a process for the preparation of an electrostatographic toner material suitably employable for pressure fixing process, comprising encapsulating a core material containing colorant with a shell material selected from the group consisting of a melamine resin and a urea resin in an aqueous medium to prepare encapsulated toner particles and spray-drying the so prepared toner particles, the improvement in which the spray-drying of the toner particles is carried out in the presence of a cationic compound selected from the group consisting of a cationic surface active agent and a cationic polymer. |
