abstract Compositions comprising (a) a pyrrolopyrrole of formula I <IMAGE> (I) wherein A and B are identical or different alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or heterocyclic aromatic radicals, R1 and R2 are hydrogen atoms, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl radicals, and also alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, carbamoyl, alkylcarbamoyl, arylcarbamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aryl, alkanoyl or aroyl groups, and X is an -O- or -S- atom, and (b) a pyrrolopyrrole of the above formula I that contains at least one group of formula -SO3L, -CO2L, -PO3(L)2, -N(R4)(R5 ), <IMAGE> +TR <IMAGE> oder -NHCOR wherein L is -H, a group of formula Mn+n or N+H(R3)(R4)(R5), M is a monovalent, divalent or trivalent metal cation, n is 1, 2 or 3, R3 R4 and R5 are each independently -H or alkyl, aralkyl, C5-C6cycloalkyl or aryl radicals, or R4 and R5, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic radical, q is an integer from 0 to 4, r is an integer from 3 to 5 and R is aryl or C1-C4alkyl, are suitable for coloring high molecular organic material.
