The invention relates to substituted naphthalene carboxylic acid derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> I wherein one of R1 and R2 is <IMAGE> and the other is hydrogen, wherein R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R10 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, and m is 0 or 1 A is <IMAGE> A' wherein R3 is hydrogen or acyl, R4 is a hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, aryl or cycloalkyl, R5 and R6 independently are hydrogen or halogen, and n is an integer from 2-10, or A is <IMAGE> A'' wherein R3 is hydrogen or acyl, R7 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R8 and R9, independently, are hydrogen, lower alkyl or halogen, t is 0 or 1, and n is an integer from 2-10, and, when R10 is lower alkyl, enantiomers and racemates thereof, and, when R is hydrogen, salts thereof with pharmaceutically acceptable bases. |
