abstract The invention relates to silicone-polyether linear block copolymers of the formula <IMAGE> wherein, R is hydrogen or a C(1-8) alkyl, alkoxyl or haloalkyl radical or a monovalent epoxy-functional organic radical; R1 is hydrogen or a C(1-8) alkyl or alkoxyl radical, or a monovalent epoxy-functional organic radical; provided that at least two R or R1 groups are either hydrogen or monovalent epoxy-functional organic radicals; R2 is a divalent alkylene radical; R3 is a C(2-6) alkyl or alkoxyl radical; n is a positive integer of about 4 to about 400; m is a whole number of from 0 to about 50; and, each of R, R1, R2, and R3, may be unsubstituted or substituted The invention also relates to UV-curable compositions comprising the above-described compound, with or without a UV-detectable dye marker, and a process for making such a compound.
