The invention relates to monofunctional reactive terphenyls of formula I <IMAGE> I in which R4 is CH2=CW-COO-, <IMAGE> HWN-, CH2=CH-, CH2=CH-O- or HS-CH2-(CH2)m-COO- with W being H, Cl or alkyl with 1-5 C atoms and m being 1-7, P is alkylene with up to 12 C atoms, it being also possible for one or more non adjacent CH2 groups to be replaced by -O-, L1 is H or F, X is -O-, -S-, -COO-, -OCO- or a single bond, u is 0 or 1, n is an integer 1 to 8, and m is an integer 2 to 8. |
